Etched Pottery Ornament
 
Each ornament is handcrafted from a casting.
It is first painted and then the intricate designs are carved into the raw clay.
Firing brings out the soft luster and earthy tones of the glazes.
Horse hair is then placed on the hot pottery creating smoke patterns and disintegrating into carbon designs.
